At 96 years old, Jack Ury is the oldest player playing in the 2009 WSOP. Jack Ury resides in Terre Haute Indiana with his family. Every year Jack Ury plays in the World Series of Poker with his grandson Seth Harrold. Jack Ury just made it past day one in the 2009 W.S.O.P, and is one step closer to winning millions!

In 2007 the ESPN cameras followed Jack closely as he also made day 2 that year. What is amazing is that the Jack has little or no vision in the one eye, and only 20% in the other! On top of that he can only hear out of one ear, yet he has made it to day 2 which started with a field of around 900 people. The tournament has an entry fee of $10,000, so he’s not really playing with amateurs. Jack Ury isn’t an amateur poker player himself, being that hes been playing poker since 1923 at the age of 10.
